Here it is! I’m excited to say that my newest book, the Washington Pro Football Encyclopedia: Redskins and Commanders, has hit the shelves.

This coffee table book, an update of my 2007 book The Redskins Encyclopedia, brings to light the team’s fascinating history and tradition. It’s the most comprehensive account ever written of the nearly century-old pro football franchise in the nation’s capital. The book features  year-by-year summaries of the team since its inception in 1932, player bios on Hall of Famers and the Best of the Rest who have worn the Burgundy & Gold, and compelling sidebars, including one on the late and great Sean Taylor, Alex Smith’s miraculous recovery from his horrific injury, and the construction of the team’s new stadium set to open in 2030. I also took a much deeper dive into the origin of the name Redskins. Plus, I updated the appendix with new information on all-time team records, Pro Bowl selections, draft picks, and year-by-year records through the 2025 season.
