For a sneak peek into Mike Richman’s newly published book, George Allen: A Football Life, check out this awesome video. Three-time Los Angeles Area Emmy-winning journalist Peter Musurlian shot the footage during Mike’s Power Point presentation in November to the Shenandoah Valley Athletic Club in Harrisonburg, VA. Peter also produced and voiced the piece. In the presentation, Mike elaborated on the highlights of Allen’s coaching life, from his role as head talent scout/defensive coordinator of the Chicago Bears (1959-65) to his last head coaching stop at Long Beach State in 1990. He later signed copies of his books George Allen: A Football Life; Joe Gibbs: An Enduring Legacy; and The Redskins Encyclopedia. His other book, the Washington Redskins Football Vault, sold out after its first printing in 2010.
